Dali private car, tour guide and interpreter

A boat on Erhai Lake with the Cangshan mountains in Dali

Dali is not one dot on the lake. The old town, the new city, and the villages around Erhai are different mornings. A bike can handle part of the western shore. A private car is what reaches Xizhou and the far shore without turning the day into a timetable. A guide is worth it when you want the houses and the market explained.

Send the hotel area first. A pickup in the old town and a pickup on the far shore are different. If the trip also includes Kunming, put that transfer in the same brief.

Three ways to ask for Dali

What helps us plan Dali

  • Wind on the lake is normal. A boat plan needs a backup.
  • The old town is busiest in the evening. Mornings are better for villages.
  • Say if you would rather keep the afternoon free.
  • Public holidays slow the lake road. Name them if your dates collide.

Languages for the guide or interpreter

This page’s language is not the working language. For Dali, name English, Mandarin, or another language in the brief. We confirm someone only when they are free.

Short answers

Do we need a car inside the old town?

Usually no. Use the car for the shore and the transfers.

Three slow nights?

That is a good Dali brief. Say not to fill every hour.

Onward travel?

Name the next town and the day. We will say when the train is the calmer idea.

Your brief

City, dates, party size, language, and the service. That is enough to start.
